Birds Visiting Your Garden

Autumn is here and the animals and birds are busy stocking up for the winter months. Food is a little hard for some of them to find so why not put some bird seed out for them to eat. If you have any sunflower seeds or mealworms these are a favourite of many garden birds. After you have put the seed out for them take some time to watch to see what birds are coming to feed. Look at their size, colour and how they move while they are flying and eating. What is their song like? How many different tunes can you notice? Relax and enjoy their company.

If you would like to find out more about the birds visiting your garden check the RSPB site which gives lots more facts about our native birdlife. They also have articles on other creatures and some plants that might interest you.
