BBC South Film Crew Visit Lindengate

We were delighted to welcome the BBC South film crew to Lindengate on Thursday 16th July, to film a news feature, which was aired on Friday 17th July.

As part of the feature, Charlie Powell, General Manager of Lindengate spoke about the importance of Lindengate, now more than ever, to give those that have been working tirelessly over the past few months and as the restrictions ease, for anyone that has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, the space to come and take time out for themselves and enjoy our beautiful therapeutic gardens and wildlife haven, set over 5 acres, near Wendover.

Libby Mckerrow, a Critical Care Staff Nurse at Stoke Mandeville Hospital has visited Lindengate on many occasions and told BBC South how important the gardens had been to her and her colleagues at this difficult time, after 12 hour shifts, wearing full PPE and supporting her team, patients and their families.

We want people to know that it is ok to not be ok and that we are offering them the time and space to come to Rest & Reflect, whether by themselves, or with a friend or relative.  We are open on Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 4 -7pm (last entry 6.30pm) and Saturdays 1.30 – 4.30pm  (last entry 4.00pm)
