It has been shown that daily contact with nature is linked to better health. Researchers have found that environments rich in wildlife, and increasing people’s contact with them, resulted in:
Improvements to health through increased physical activity
Reductions in stress and anxiety.
Increased positive mood and self-esteem.
A better and healthier social life.
At Lindengate, we support adults with common mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety and stress through our wellbeing and nature courses. More details below.

The programme is focused on maintaining wellbeing and preventing serious mental illness and recovery. Through seasonal nature based activities, including conservation, kitchen & formal gardening and nature based crafts and arts, we support anyone to build resilience and maintain positive wellbeing.
