Our
Impact

Lindengate is more than a garden. It’s a community, built on wellbeing, connection, and growth.

This year, we welcomed children, adults and families through our wellbeing programmes, volunteering opportunities and community events. We expanded our work with young people, developed new horticultural programmes, and strengthened partnerships with schools, charities and health services — ensuring more people could benefit from Social and Therapeutic Horticulture.

In 2025 we supported more people, growing our beneficiary numbers by 31% , with 3840 people supported through programmes, volunteering, events and open garden sessions.

Mental health challenges affect people of all ages across Buckinghamshire. Local data shows that common mental health disorders affect around 1 in 8 men and 1 in 5 women; the number of under-18s in contact with mental health services has doubled in five years; and more than 7,200 people locally are living with dementia, including those diagnosed under the age of 65. Behind these figures are real people, families and communities — and it is this human reality that drives us.
